PPOA, a healthcare leader, purchased the former Bethesda Ambulatory Surgery Center in 2017. The facility has been AHCA ASC licensed since 2000 and has maintained continuous accreditation by the prestigious Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).

Our Team

Adam Elder - Administrator

Adam has been the clinical manager of Boynton Beach Ambulatory Surgery Center, overseeing all operations. A native of Kentucky, he earned his Associates degree from St. Catherine College with a BLS, ACLS, PALS and PICC Line Certification.

He started his career as a pre-op/PACU nurse, was promoted to Charge Nurse and was then named clinical manager of the facility.

Dr. Man Le

Dr. Man Le is fellowship trained in Pain Medicine and uses a variety of cutting-edge interventional techniques to free patients from chronic pain.

After earning his medical degree from the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, he completed a residency in Anesthesia at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. He practiced anesthesia for several years before realizing he could make a more meaningful difference in patients’ lives as an interventional pain management physician. He went on to complete a fellowship in the specialty at Georgetown.

Dr. Le previously practiced in South Florida and in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, including 10 years as the medical director for the Pain Management Center at Boca Raton Regional Hospital.

Dr. Alejandro Tapia

Dr. Alejandro Tapia is board-certified and fellowship-trained in interventional pain management. He specializes in treating spine pain with a wide range of minimally invasive techniques.

Dr. Tapia earned his medical degree from Universidad Central del Este Facultad de Medicina in San Pedro, Dominican Republic. He completed his Anesthesiology residency training at the University of Miami and his internship at the Department of Surgery at the University of South Alabama. He completed fellowship training in Interventional Pain Medicine at the University of Michigan.

He is a member of the International Spine Intervention Society, Diplomat of the American Academy of Pain Management, American Society of Regional Anesthesia and the Florida Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.
